Lavender stoechas ‘Kew Red’ is compact bushlet form of French Lavender. Bright red-cerise-pink flower spikes, topped with long leaf-like bracts bloom from spring to early autumn. The aromatic leaves are narrow and grey-green in colour. It has several culinary uses : the flowers can be used to flavour a wide variety of dishes from roasts, casseroles, soups, salads, vinegars to ice cream. Established height 45cm x Spread 45cm. Plant in moist but well drained soil in a sunny position. It looks good in containers, window boxes and the border. It is excellent for bees and butterflies. Supplied in a 9cm pot with colour label.
