Cooks and gardeners alike love this evergreen perennial herb for the unique, pungent flavour and aroma that its gray-green leaves produce. The green leaves have white variegated margins which are suffused with pink and purple. The woody stems may be trimmed back to newly emerging growth or strong stems in spring. In early to mid-summer, it sends up lavender-purple flower spikes. Once established it can reach a height of 100cm and spread of 100cm. Plant in full sun in moist but well drained soil. Plants supplied are in 9cm pots.
